Why do my phone pictures disappear after copying the to the desktop?

My phone pictures after copying on the desktop disappeared

I own a NOKIA LUMIA 925 - for picture backup I store all my images through USB on my desktop. But on 31st dec - yesterday I saved all my images on the computer and then deleted the pictures from the camera roll. Now today 1st Jan I am not able to see the images - in fact the whole folder is missing. I have a windows laptop - this is strange / freaky and unbelievable experience. I am suffering from a huge loss and those are very precious pictures to me which I don't know how to get back. I need help !! I cant loose those images !!

Maybe you are looking at a different location. Or you didn't really copy the pictures probably just created the shortcut.

Try a few undeleterprograms on your laptop and let them do there job.
Maybe you have some luck.
