Why does my Lumia 625 show me a smiley face when I try to start it up?

while i was trying to upgrade my lumia 625 to windows 10, my phone kept showing me sign when i try to start up...what should i do? i have tried a lot of ways but it didn't wok

i have a similar problem too but my phone isnt responding and it isnt even recognised by my computer. please explain to me the process of recovering my phone back to its original state
