Why does my text messaging colors not match my theme colors???

I am curious as to why whenever I change my theme colors, the text message bubbles are completely different. I have currently changed my theme to have blue colors, but my text messages are orange. I have no idea how to fix this. I have tried everything I can think of. Is this something that can't e fixed? I think it's kind of dumb personally. I like having the ability to change the text messaging colors as I have with all my other phones. At least 8.1 worked the way I was expecting it to. When I change colors on the theme, the messaging colors change with it. Any help or info would be great. Thanks
