Why does my Windows 10 pics SCREEN-SAVER, NOT show the filename of each pic ?

Congratulations - you've now fixed the bug in the screen-saver, which gave an error when I scrolled back thro the pics. But I still don't get the file-name with each pic displayed.

Both these features worked well with Windows XP over 10 years ago !

The quickest and simplest method I recall for Windows 7 was to copy "ssmypics.scr" from C:\Windows\System32 from a windows XP machine and paste into the same folder on Windows 7. I have checked and it works on Windows 10.

It doesn't matter if you are using a 32 bit or 64 bit install of Windows 10, the process is the same.

Once pasted, click continue and then go to settings -> lock screen -> screen saver settings.

You can download the file from here, if you don't have access to an XP Machine.
