Are you on the windows insider program? Insider updates have been known to break the working of third party antivirus programs

Given the nature of how these programmes work and the release cadence of insider builds it will break compatibility with anti virus and firewall programmes.

The said programmes are usually tested on finished products as they know what sort of operating system behaviour to expect when they add a functionality or test a functionality.

With insider builds core system files are always changing so as Chintan said, please provide more information of how windows update is interfering with the anti virus programme.
