Why doesn't my Surface Dock charge my Surface Book?

Windows Central Question

My Surface Dock does not charge my Surface Book

I have tried disconnecting, shutting off the computer, uninstalling the battery drivers but I still caanot have my Surface Dock to charga my Surface Book.
Is there any solution around?
