Why don't I have a display screen on my Lumia 540?

No Display

When I unlock lumia 540, i cannot see the home screen

All the tiles were removed from the start screen and I am assuming it opens up the apps list, simply long press on an application and pin it to the start screen. Repeat for as many apps as you like.

i too have the same problem...lock screen is perfect for me but when i enter password the lock screen goes off and then home screen comes just blank i cannot perform anything!! how did you resolve the problem?
