Why don't i won the music I buy

Why is it that when i buy music on groove, I am only able to see the files in the Groove app. I can't select and move my music to anywhere else on my computer, like to a USB where I can play it in the car or other home device. Why don't I own my purchase to use it as I like.

Are you using a Groove Pass or purchasing songs/albums individually with money? If it's the Groove Pass, it's because you're paying for a license for the music, not buying it. If you're buying with money, you should be able to get to them. Look in Music -> Xbox Music -> Purchases - that's where they are on my computer.
