Why have I lost my webcam?

Since I downloaded windows 10 I have lost the use of my webcam. I have gone to device settings to uninstall and reinstall and it's not in the list at all .I can't find it anywhere yet I have a built in camera. I would really appreciate your help as it is important that I can use it.

If I was having this problem I would start off by googling Windows 10 "your computer brand and model" lost webcam. I'm absolutely sure there are other people with the same problem. You can also go to the manufacturer website for your computer and look for any drivers they have for the webcam. I would need more information to go further, feel free to join the forums and post up for more help.

when you checked in device manager, there was no unrecognised device?
