Why haven't I been asked to download windows 10 yet?

I reserved a copy of windows 10 prior to launch with the get windows 10 app, and a couple months later I still haven't been asked to upgrade. The get windows 10 app says that I've reserved my upgrade and that all I need to do is wait until the computer says that windows 10 is ready to install. I am using windows 7 with a HP ProBook 450 G1. I've installed all updates for my computer with the Windows Update tool and HP Support Assistant. What's wrong?

Does your PC belong to a domain? Not sure if it's changed since launch but that was originally one of the more common reasons. Anyway, use the media creation tool. I tried including the URL but it's getting mangled so just do an internet search for "Microsoft media creation tool", download the appropriate version (32 or 64 bit), open it, and select the "Upgrade this PC now" option. It works very well.
