I am having a lumia 535 and in the windows insider fast ring. The last update build was 10586.107, I have seen that even the slow and preview rings receiving updates of 10586.122 but I haven't received further updates. Why? The official windows 10 mobile released was with build 10586.164. Then why I am not able to get the updates even in the fast ring?
EDIT:
Is it possible to switch to slow or release preview ring from fast ring, then how? Just open the Windows Insider app and select release preview ring? Also is it possible to switch to fast ring again?

As wrote in Official Insider blog and Gabe's blog, Fast is reserved to WIndows 10 born Lumias. You must switch to Slow or Release preview, and then check updates as usual.
If doesn't works, you could be in one old build unable to update directly, and as mentioned in official blogs , you could have to revert to 8.1 via WDRT before.

First, switch to Slow and check updates

Exactly, open app and Switch. your phone will reboot.
Then search manually for updates, there's first a little Configuration update.
After that. you can manually search again, and you'll find the big update.

That's not necessary to turn back fast, your phone isn't supported on that ring anymore
