Why is a second -pc version being saved along with all of my documents on OneDrive?

Each time I save a document, a new version with the same title but "-pc" at the end is also being saved in the same OneDrive folder. How do I stop this?

Make sure that the file is not open in more than one PC. From what I've observed, this only happens when I have the same file opened in two PCs (where the file is not a Microsoft Office file).
