Cortana tells me she cannot speak UK English...
So I have a Lumia 620, bought from Hong Kong (CV-Malaysia). I use it in Canada. After the long wait for Cortana to arrive I was keen to see what she could do.
Being British I have my language set to English UK along with the keyboard. Region is 'Canada'. So imagine my surprise when I run the Cortana app for it to tell me;
"I'm sorry, but I can't speak your language yet." !? (but she writes it well enough).
I go to settings and I see a list of languages with 17-24Mb below each. I am presuming there is a regional data pack for each. English UK and English US both do not have a Mb size.
When I switch the language to English US (American), Cortana is 'Ready to get started'.
How bizarre. It seems Cortana was confused by the region being Canada. No Canadian English yet fr 620 I am guessing. Restarting with the region and language as UK English seems to fix it.
