why my battery is draining really fast?

i updated my lumia 1520 2 days back. after the update my battery drains faster than as usual. it was 70% when i went to sleep and the next day morning it was dead. does anyone have the same problem?? n my preview build is 10.0.10586.36

Not all 1520's function well with Windows 10 Mobile.

Hard reset and wait few days for battery ti settle down.

Look at all of the settings and turn off things that you don't use regularly - NFC. Bluetooth, Location, etc. If there's any turned on, then see how battery life changes with them turned off.

Also take a look at your background tasks to see which have been enabled after the upgrade (Settings-->System->Battery Saver->Battery use) - disable any apps that you don't want to work in the background (there are many apps that I only want to work when I open them manually)

If neither of those fix the battery life, try:

1. Try a soft reset (press and hold power button until you get prompted to slide the locks screen down). Restart the device and see if the battery life improved
2. Try a hard reset (Settings->System->About). Ensure that you have a recent backup before doing this.

If option 1 doesn't work, try 2.

With battery saver on and location off, battery is MUCH better, and backlight on low.

But then u get no notifications

I never found one. Some 1520's and some 1020's simply won't update. W10M will install but it will run like half the code didn't make it, at least on the 1520 I have.
