why is my battery taking a lot of time to charge?

i had updaed my phone to windows insider fast ring buid 10536 n it had a battery draining issue n even it was taking 2x longer time to charge it full. 2day i have installed the latest build and now battery backup is little bit improved as compared to last build but not as it was before but the charging has still remained the same. it takes a lot of time to charge.

What phone model? What charge method: Qi, USB, AC? On my Lumia 930 I did notice slower charging and huge battery drain on 10536. On 10581 I have not noticed change in charge time but the drain has seemed to be fixed.

Phone model is Lumia 1320, AC charger. Right now im having more issues with this build. Charging is slow, heats up even in idol screen, did soft reset but stil the same prob. kinda getting scared to hard reset as this build has storage problem. if i hard reset then it the storage setting will go to phone memory by default. n m having prob with screen. it lags n den gets stuck.

Same here. Battery drain was quite frustrating. Maybe having to charge 3 times a day. (constantly on WiFi). Now it seems that my battery takes FOREVER to charge BUT it hasn't been draining so much since installing 10581. I think this is preferable.

Update: I think you should read all the workaround threads about storage/memory and once you've found a working one hard reset
