Why is my Lumia 920 Touch Screen shifting under touch?

Dear fellow users of Lumia 920, I have been facing a rather annoying issue over the last one month with my phone. When I am surfing web, the moment my finger touches the page (regardless of a link or static content) the screen seems to randomly shift on its own to my right. I need to press the screen harder to keep it from not moving. The issue is doubly annoying because - one, it shifts and two, it doesnt let me select the link i wish to open in a separate tab. I have not noticed this phenomenon on any other app besides IE till now - however it may not mean it's just IE specific. Any suggestions please?

1) Soft reset the phone
2) Hard reset the phone
3) Lumia Software Recovery Tool
4) Check for updates... wait, that should be first. :winktongue:

Fun aside, they havent worked for me mate. Any concret suggestions? Does the screen need a replacement?
