Why is my Lumia camera so very slow?

Lumia camera very slow

I am on the l930 with all the latest updates (even todays Lumia camera update). While I find camera360 really fast and Microsoft camera fast, Lumia camera takes over a second between shots. Anyone else have this issue? Are there certain settings I should use?

With the lumia camera 5 you can save a 5mp version or 5mp+16mp or 5mp+DNG.
The saving of additional (bigger size) pictures takes time.
So check under in the lumia camera app under settings > phone what you save.
Furthermore is you use rich capture you also save additional files which also take time.

(Camera 360 and the microsoft camera "only" save a 5 mp version )

Thanks. I was wondering about that. It definitely did speed it up to being around the same speed as the microsoft camera.
