Why is OneDrive slower on Windows 7 than Windows 10
I have OneDrive (personal) on both my Win7 desktop (at my office ) and Win10 laptop (currently at my office). My desktop is wired to the Internet. My laptop is connected thru WiFi. I move a folder with a lot of files into OneDrive on my desktop. It starts to synch slowly. The laptop picks up files and folders really fast, then waits for more content to be uploaded from the desktop to the cloud, and the cycle repeats itself. WiFi should be slower, right? but in my case the bottleneck is my desktop. In all other respects my desktop is super fast. i7 processor, 8 GB memory, 500 GB SSD. My laptop is nothing fancy. What is going on?
