Why is searching for an artist in the Xbox Music app so difficult?

I have an Xbox Music pass because I want to try it out to see if I could use it over Spotify or any of the other services for my needs. While I'm not going to rehash all the issues with the app that have been covered by everyone, I just have to wonder why there is no simple ability to just search for an artist. For example, when I search for an artist, I get one long list of a million song titles before I reach the actual ARTIST I'm looking for. Seriously? Every other music service separates out song titles, artists, album titles, etc. in easy categories. Why the hell is this so hard for Xbox Music to do? This is beyond absurd, something so simple. Please somebody tell me I'm an ***** and am doing something wrong.

Yes this is a pain in the ***! The biggest problem I have are covers for my albums which I have downloaded, never finds a cover for the albums. Is there anyway to upload your own like itunes as this really sucks.
