Why is the keyboard predictive text so slow? - Lumia 640XL

I used Windows 8.1 and now Windows 10 test builds, on both versions the predictive text does appear immediately after typing. There is a slight lag which happens, hence I cannot press the Spacebar to auto complete the word and move on to the next. This dramatically slowed down my typing. As some of you might know, I recently switched from Android to Windows Phone, having used Swiftkey's terrific typing experience, I feel very much lost here. Anyway to make the prediction happen as soon as you finish typing the world?

Did you make a hard reset after the upgrade to W10M? That would have made a difference.

Yes. I tried on both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, it is the same. The prediction takes a few milliseconds before it appears. If I tap the space instantly before waiting for the prediction to appear, it doesn't autocorrect.
