Why is Windows 10 WC app (Desk top) log in not working?

I can't log into WC from the desk top app from any of my PCs.

What happens when you try? Is there an error message?

The app has been broken for at least a year and they mentioned during a podcast a while ago the developer is gone so unless something changed recently, it's basically unsupported at this point. I had the same problem with the login, it simply didn't work, no error. It was fine if the login was saved from when it did work but it failed when trying for the first time if the app was re-installed or when setting up on a new PC.

That's a shame. But you can always use the browser to visit the site. If it's any consolation, the Android app isn't that better.
