Lumia 1520 touch screen issue

Most of times, when I press the screen for scrolling, instead of scroll, it works as press for opening the application, which is very irritating, does anybody has solution on this.

Depends on your definition of solution. I VERY rarely get a press when I wanted to scroll with 2 1520s or on numerous other Lumias. And no noticeable difference between the models. Based on threads I've read, there is a belief that the 1520 is more susceptible depending on how the operator uses the phone. In other words, you can probably minimize it a great deal by changing your touch. Not ideal and not necessarily easy. I know someone who had a hard time getting 3 different Lumias to acknowledge a touch at all but eventually overcame it by practicing different ways of touching and having them become second nature.

You might also want to try both normal and high sensitivity settings for touch if you haven't already. One may work better than the other the way you touch.

Re: Lumia 1520 touch screen issue

Hello,

I have the very same issue and it is utterly annoying!!! Additionally, I have to "double tap" a couple times just to wake the phone up.

I changed the screen sensitivity from high to normal. Any ideas here?
