Rumours started about MS buying EA. The internet then exploded into 2 sides. But I feel many missed the point. And today there is further rumours that Google are looming to enter the console market. But not like you think.
The rumour is a console with a monthly Subscription like Netflix for games. Now MS are in a great position here. As Game Pass is up and running. And now about to get all Exclusives day and date at at launch. Did MS see this coming from Google? Are Sony going to be left behind?
Does this add ALOT more weight to an acquisition of EA by MS?
I still maintain an Acquisition of EA by MS would be entirely to flesh out Game Pass. Essentially making subscription Exclusives. Or Xbox Originals like Netflix Originals. Even still releasing the games on Playstation for £50. Just not allowing Paystation to have them on any future subscription service?
