why when I click on e-mail app in windows 10 it is always searching

[Windows Central Question]

I set up my e-mail accounts so that when I click on envelop app on opening screen in windows 10 I could get mail. My accounts show up, but a large white box comes up asking me to wait while it searches. This never resolves. This search never ends
