Why won’t my surface pro 4 turn on?

So I recently purcased a second hand surface pro 4. The previous owner had it for 1 year and I have had it for 5 months. Today I went to use t and it was working perfectly fine for 5 minutes and then all of a sudden the screen froze. So I held down the power button for 10 seconds and now it won’t turn on. I have tried all the reboot options and nothing worked. Microsoft said I have to get a replacement device but I don’t want to unless completely necessary

Try to hold down power and vol down, or up, for 30 secs. Also, try that while attached to the charger.

Yes, if holding the power button for 30 seconds doesn't work, your next step is to take it to the extreme and disconnect/reconnect the battery. (which would involve taking the device apart). At 1.5 years old, it's unlikely it's still under warranty unless the original owner extended it.

Yes, and dismantling it means you have a good chance, 'bout 70% to break the screen. Sorry mate.
