Why won't my new band show notifications?

New band won't show notifications

Phone: 640
Build: 10581
Band: 1st generation
Health app says I need to turn on notifications under "accessory apps" in settings. When I go there (settings, privacy, accessory apps) I have no toggle to turn on/off. Band connects to Health app for some things, but no notifications for messages, phone calls, calendar, etc.

Try a factory reset of Band...
