Why won't my windows 635 phone download apps?

[Windows Central Question]

So I recently purchased a windows 635 go phone off At&T, and I tried downloading a few free apps. However every time I try downloading an app or updating something it will give me the following error message: We weren't able to install this app to your SD card, its possible that something is wrong with the SD card. And then it goes on to direct me to storage sense. This is my first windows phone, so I am rather confused... My phone has 4 gbs of space free, so shouldn't it be able to download apps? It does say my SD card is not found, so should I buy one?

If you are on the start screen swip to the right. You are now in the app list.
Find the app Storage Sense.and tap on it. Storage sense will now open.
On the lower have of the page you see 3 "bars". Go there and change them all to "phone". Probably some of them are now SD.

My phone is doing the same thing, I've check my storage It's all set to phone. Its been this way for along time now it just goes straight to pending. Any other suggestions ?

I'm the same tho but not to do with SD card. Just says pending, installing then failed!! So annoying

Followed all Microsoft help page on the issue but still no good!!

Time date and Microsoft email all correct.. Can anybody else give me a hint please
