Why would Cortana say that I'm too young for her

When I went to set up Cortana or whatever, it said that I was too young for her. I want to be able to use her, but it won't let me. Please help me figure out why and how to fix it so that I can use it.

I'm not sure, but Cortana may very well have an age limit. You could try changing your birthday on your Microsoft Account in a browser to make you seem older but you didn't hear it from me, haha.

Is that a regional rule? My 9, 11 and 15 yr old children use Cortana all the time in the UK. I do have "family" setup with MS, so maybe that is it?? Would the filtering settings in Cortana be the reason?

Like I said, no issues here. Strange.
