This is a fan based News and Discussion site. It is in no way run by Microsoft, Lumia or any developer.

For whatever reason, Microsoft determined 512 GB RAM devices could not work reliably on W10M. Some users find that it does for them. Ask yourself this, though: how many 512MB RAM devices are running a modern OS? And how well?
