Wi-Fi lockscreen turn off

Does Lumia phones get the turn off Wi-Fi in background option after cyan update? It was disabled after DP8.1

It wasn't disabled nor cyan will get this back. This won't have any effect on battery life in standby mode

I lost this option after WP 8.1, using Lumia 520 here. From what I heard, the option is still there for phones from other brands, and at that time there was speculations that this option will reappear post cyan.

As far as I know Microsoft removed this option in windows phone 8.1update. Recently tested out a lumia 630 , no luck :unhappy:
Why do you want to disable wifi after lockscreen ? Instead turn of the wifi ? And it does not have any effect on battery life.

I'm sure it does affect battery consumption by at least a little... And turning off Wi-Fi is a tad bit troublesome #lazy
