Last week I had a corrupted file of some sort which resulted in 2 hard resets on two different days. It looks like I got the problem solved and my TP2 and I are on speaking terms again. However, I turned on the WiFi, which came up nicely, then selected my home network, reentered my passkey and it refused to connect. It said it was connecting but it never was able to connect. I tried again at work with the settings for there and same thing. It indicated it was connecting but nothing!! Mind you, I hardly use WiFi at all. I have Sprint unlimited data plan and connection here in Phoenix is excellent. I just wanted to use it to see how well it worked. Prior to my hard resets I used WiFi on my TP2 and it connected right up. Any ideas what up wit dat??
Some info that may help. When I had my problem requiring hard resets I tried soft resets first of course and after cycling through and coming back to the "Today" screen, my device would switch to a "Device Management" screen I have never seen before. It was trying to establish a bluetooth connection, I believe, which made no sense to me. I cancelled that screen and the soft reset completed. That may be my problem but I can not find that "Device Management" tool anywhere. As always, I appreciate any help.
