Wifi problems

Ive got a Nokia Lumia 710, and it all works fine exept for the WiFi disconnecting everytime i lock the phone, ive checked all the settings and i cant do anything? does anyone know what to do?

Ive got a Nokia Lumia 710, and it all works fine exept for the WiFi disconnecting everytime i lock the phone, ive checked all the settings and i cant do anything? does anyone know what to do?

I may be mistaken, however, i do not believe the 7xx series has an "always on feature" i believe this is an wp8 only feature, there are however apps in the store that will trick the phone into keeping the wifi on under lockscreen
