Wifi Sense

I know wifi sense turns on wifi when you're near your favorite place, but does anyone know if it turns off wifi when you leave?

I thought wifi sense shares your wifi connection passwords with friends and connects to public popular hotspots.

No, not unless Microsoft add that function.

It doesn't turn WiFi on and off, period. It just uses the location data to positively identify networks it should connect to.

Sorry for using the wrong term, it's not wifi sense, but just an option in the wifi settings. When this option is set, wifi turned off, Cortana turned on, favorite places set in the maps app, wifi will automatically turn on. However I did find out that wifi will not automatically turn off.
