This is another positive I've uncovered through my daily life with the 535.
Where I work we have a canteen on lower ground floor, I'm based on first floor.
My 520 used to lose wifi strength as soon as I left the ground floor.

The 535 can still reach and connect with a 2 out 5 strength in lower ground floor canteen where the 520 was dead.
I know for certain that nothing has been done to company wifi as I'm responsible for it!

Anyone else noticed a wifi performance gain compared to other WP8/8.1 handsets you've moved from?
Suppose it stands to reason that since the 520 was introduced wifi tech has improved.

I think its denim improvement... After cyan update the WiFi strength of my phone reduced compared to black so I think new firmware solved the existing problem..

My 1320's WiFi strength never changed from the upgrade black to cyan, so we can say that if there is a problem of strength in cyan it may be related to a specific device.

In the short amount of time I had the Moto G 2014, comparatively I think the 535's WiFi strength is better. Nonetheless I find it on par with the 1320 and 735. Well, with the external antennas(you can see then if you take the cover off) and very thin back cover it's not very difficult I would say.
