Wifi turns self on WP10, any advice?

Wifi turns self on wp10

Hi all, when my 950 is on standby with wifi off and I wake the mobile, it show the wifi in notifications as on. Does it every time, and I'm guessing it drains the battery doing so. Any advice?

in settings > network > wifi >do you see any setting for switching on wifi on after a certain period of time? It should be set to manual
