Will an unlocked Lumia 735 work on Verizon?

Can I buy one and try to activate on Verizon right now? There is only one seller on EBay with a factory unlocked unit, not sure how legit or if it will even work on Verizon.

Verizon will not activate any devices from other carriers on its network. If you have Verizon as your carrier, you must use a Verizon branded device.

Same goes for Sprint or its CDMA prepaid carriers, like Virgin Mobile. Only networks you're bringing an unlocked phone to are GSM based, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and their prepaid offshoots (Cricket, MetroPCS, etc.).
