Windows Central Question
Maybe Windows 10? What exactly is Google's problem here? They think that people will stop buying their phones if other phones have a YouTube app on them? Apparently this happened around 2 years ago and Microsoft just never bothered.
I want the native application because the web player one is... ****. I mean it's great that it can still play videos while off and that the web player actually renders the desktop version of YouTube but it's slow. The Mobile web player on the other hand is just buggy, the quality setting is non-existent. It's always on low-quality and I cannot change this unless I switch to the Desktop web player and force it in 720 or 1080p but it is very slow and buggy. Will Windows 10 fix this whole mess? I rather not use with paid applications or free non-official ones. I want the real deal made by official developers.
Or I'll settle for Windows 10 upping the desktop site rendering performance. Either way this needs more attention.
