Will OEM's be releasing "not phones" too?

Given that one of the functions of the Surface brand is to provide exemplar hardware, do you think it likely that we will see OEM versions of the Andromeda "not phone"?

My guess is maybe something targeted at business users, but probably nothing for the consumer market. The problem is that Microsoft has given up on the phone market, and unless App developers start creating UIs for full windows there will still be an app gap for the consumer market. Now there are some UIs for full windows so the gap would likely close a little bit, but time would tell if it closes enough or if PWAs and built in functionality to Cortana closes it enough to make the consumer market viable.

But if you are looking for an expensive Tablet/Phone and are ok with limited app availability then you may have some choices (assuming all of the Andromeda stuff comes to fruition).

if Andromeda runs x86 programs then we can see devices like foldables , padfone or Razer's project linda.
But if it only relies on Windows store than I don't think any other oem beside Microsoft will bother.
