Will the Coratan speaker be cancelled after ditching Groove?

Now that all consumer stuff seems to be cancelled; does the Cortana speaker still make sense? Or will it able to play Spotify music? Or do you have to switch to Alexa to be able to play music?

If I was Harman Kardon I would be very very angry.

Was thinking the same thing. The Cortana speaker is definitely DOA now.

Or will Spotify be available over the air, as a service? In that case it could be a BRILLIANT move. But then I would expect Microsoft AND Amazon (because of the Alexa Cortina deal) to participate in Spotify.
