Will there ever be a Lumia 930?

I'm wondering if the 9x0 line is done for now that we entered the 10x0 numbers?

The Lumia 920 has a beautiful design and would look great at the size of 4.5" or 5" with an SD card slot and upgraded internals. The 1020 seems very similar design-wise to the 920, but it's very expensive and lacks SD card support. :-(

I've been dreaming of a Lumia 930 for a while...

The 929 seems to be the closest phone to a direct upgrade.

The 929 looks interesting, but it lacks an SD card slot, which is important to me.

Is Verizon selling the 929 unlocked?

I believe its unlocked in terms of the GSM side, can't really say for sure though

also, I'm not expecting a 930 until the next generation of WP comes in, like 8.1 or 9

Assuming it has GSM radios (I haven't looked), it will be unlocked. 47 CFR 27.16, the code under which Verizon leased its LTE band, states in section e that phones using that band cannot be locked to the carrier.

47 CFR 27.16 - Network access requirements for Block C in the 746-757 and 776-787 MHz bands. | Title 47 - Telecommunication | Code of Federal Regulations | LII / Legal Information Institute
(e) Handset locking prohibited. No licensee may disable features on handsets it provides to customers, to the extent such features are compliant with the licensee's standards pursuant to paragraph (b)of this section, nor configure handsets it provides to prohibit use of such handsets on other providers' networks.

So the phone is unlocked to operate in ALL of its supported radio frequencies?
