Will update to 8.1 erase any WiFi settings?

I was wondering if my known WiFi networks would be deleted when I update to Black.i have a Lumia 521.

Source hehe it's a system update , it won't erase your data , why would Microsoft delete your personal data with update , eg , I updated my lumia 920, 3 times , first the protico update , second gdr2 /amber update and lastly recent gdr3/black update , it didn't affected any of my personal data including wifi settings. If you flash your phone , yes then you will lose all your data including wifi settings and passwords.

Source? Experience (and manufacturer design). I have yet to see a firmware or OS update wipe any settings.

em, what? it an update, do your windows 7 Wi-Fi settings get erased after some update?

It didn't when I upgraded my Lumia 820 from "amber" to "black".
