Will wp8.1 restore from a windows 10 mobile backup

I got a one m8 and Dot view app is not downloading on windows 10 so I want to rollback to wp8.1 without installing all the apps myself again. Idc about the other stuff but will apps redownload on 8.1 from a windows 10 backup
