Windows Central Question

Only SPDIF and HDMI devices are visible. None work. Have SHOW DISABLED DEVICES marked. Speakers do not show. Running AUDIO TROUBLESHOOTER shows SPEAKERS NOT CONNECTED. They make noise when I plug them in showing they are working and connected.

1) Lame question, but have to ask - I presume you tried each audio jack on the back of the PC?

2) Are you using the onboard sound?

3) Have you tried reinstalling the driver?

4) Did you remove the driver via device manager?

If so and Windows does not auto detect then your audio chip is simply caput, you will need to us a pci-e/pci sound card or usb external sound card.

5) If you aren't using a PC with onboard sound, what are you using for your sound?
