will available to htc8x ? or only for lumia.

It could be available as nokia is now part of Microsoft but no sign of it in wp8.1 . May be after wp8.1 . But it is an HTC issue, they can make this feature available right now, if they want to.

They are introducing the Double Tap to wake in WP8.1 to all devices, but the device itself must support this. So if the display can't stay in a low power state in order to recognize taps, it won't work. Still, I expect some firmware magic to do the trick.

do you think that lumia 520 support it ? and htx8c doesn't !!!!!
the problem is htc company it doesn't care...
