I personally prefer not to have a local storage for One Drive. I would rather use One Drive as a virtual drive on my PC. Is there a way to configure that?

I am ok with a local cache for performance and reliability reason. But once synced, no file should be persistent.

I believe you can right click on all of the subfolders within the OneDrive folder and mark them all as "Online Only" and accomplish what you want.

Are you looking at them in Windows Explorer? That's where I see this option. It actually says "Make available online-only".
