Another good one is Square Home. That's the one I use. Pretty similar to Launcher 10 as I've used both but I just got used to using Square Home instead.

If you want to go further with it look into Glance Plus or Always On Screen. Best on AMOLED screens of course. I found those two apps are the best to emulate Glance from Windows Mobile. Found them a couple days ago. In some cases they out do the glance service currently going for windows 10 mobile.

Microsoft should make they're own launcher to emulate windows 10 mobile. Like really the hardware part has failed but the software part is it's only saving grace. Turn up the cloud involvement and presto.

yes.

blackberry put its spin on android by bringing its key features (the blackberry hub and its security suite)on top of android - and was critically applauded.

and they were coming off of blackberry 10 os, whose UI wasn't the prettiest. whereas windows 10 (even windows 7 and 8), had a UI that was almost universally liked - they just couldn't get the apps people wanted.

if microsoft makes its own launcher on top of android and takes a more hands on approach to how things like live tiles, productivity suites operate on android, i think they'd see not only critical, but commercial success as well.

That's pretty cool. I'm looking at getting the S8+ and this makes me feel better that it is an option to get this type of skin. I've missed my live tiles since moving primarily to an ios device.

Does this have swipe right for app list, swipe left to get back to tiles screen, and transparent tiles?

Was trying to set up a windows like UI on my mum's android, and installed square home, but its kinda a dogs breakfast. Has the app list which is something, but it's not as intuitive as the real UI, and looks ugly.

Okay found it on youtube. Vastly superior to squarehome, actually functions like win10m (sorta).

Sure she doesn't have the cash right now, but I'll suggest it to here at some point maybe.
