I've a Lumia 630 and since it hasn't gotten the windows 10 update, should I sign up for the insider program? Is it good enough to be a daily driver?

It has 512mb of ram, your experience may vary. There's no harm in trying slow ring to get the .164 update. If you use One Drive to back up photos that helps.

not yet a daily driver. will be safe enough in future builds. i would suggest stay on your windows phone 8.1

Since MS officially said, W10M needs atleast 1GB for smooth and consistent operation, L630 would perform poorly or worse than wp8.1. Don't take my word, you can enroll into insider and try it yourself and you ain't like it, simply rollback to 8.1 using WDRT. I'm holding off my upgrade as well on L730 since its officially out. I'm waiting for some bugs to be ironed out and hoping switch to 10 until the OS is usable as daily driver.
