Windows 10 on a Samsung 540U3C A01

Dear all,

I hope I don't repeat any post so far.

I'm trying to install the latest technical preview on my samsung series 5 (540U3C A01). Windows setup asks me for drivers for dvd / usb / hard disk which the setup is not able to find itself.

As this machine does not have any dvd drive and usb is working (otherwise setup would not start at all I guess), I suggest some hard disk driver to not be available..

Anyone any idea?

I had that problem while trying to install Win8 from a DVD (and my DVD drive was broken).
Then I run the setup from a USB stick, and it didn't ask for any drivers or such.

You should try something similar.

many thanks for your reply. I already running the installation via an usb 3.0 device which was created / formatted with a tool "isotousb".

Just used an older USB 2.0 device - and it worked perfectly
