Windows 10 pc help !!

So I made a new account in windows 10 for myself, my dads account works completely fine but in mine the "@" key does not work for some reason.

Can someone help me out?

Where are you inputing @?

During setup? Log in?

Is this in the email address or the pass word? Physical keyboard? Virtual?

A couple more details may help...
