Microsoft Lumia usually uses previous generation SoC class. I think the best we can hope for is a 810 for the next flagship Lumia for Fall release.
I will buy an unlock version of an Lumia with all the radios built-in of Microsoft if they decide to finally go and open up the Lumia like their "international versions".
I From what I found your right!

The Snapdragon 810 is coming to Lumia as a high end product this fall, unfortunately at the same time as the Snapdragon 820 released in other brands like aka Note5 .....this again doesn't look good for Microsoft using old outdated hardware on a brand new OS? ....... 810 vs 820
The all custom built Snapdragon 820 is far superior in every way possible!
I'll have to wait till Windows 10.1 Phone and hope they use the Snapdragon 820 in 2016?
This is very unfortunate news.
Don't be so sure about this...
Microsoft has waited this long to release a new flagship phone and if they can pull a rabbit out of their hat might be able to use the 815/820 chipsets for the Q4 releases.... This is if they can ink a good deal with Qualcom
